During my trip to Thorpe Park, the main reason was to check out their brand new Ghost Train, a ride that has replaced Derren Brown Ghost Train.
I very much enjoyed the experience of the ride, and it is so much better now that it hasn’t got VR.
The same team that are behind creations foe The Dugeons were involved in Ghost Train and you really could tell!
Now, while it was a brilliant experience, it has got one flaw, the ride system itself. Sadly, it remains to be unreliable which resulted in the ride closing while I was queued for an hour, they did get everyone to leave the queue and gave a fast track which was good. Secondly when I managed to go on the ride, it was then delayed during the ‘second’ part of the ride.
You can tell that there was investment made for the retheme of the ride, its just such a shame that it has all of the technical issues.
In addition when I was on, there was small issues with people talking which did make it difficult at times to hear the actors.
