Alton Towers Waterpark

During my return visit to Alton Towers, I decided that I would take my first trip into the Splash Landings Waterpark.

Even though I have now been to Alton Towers a couple of times, I had never actually went into the waterpark so I took the opportunity during my recent visit.

I must admit, I had plenty of fun as I went in for opening at 10am and ended up staying until 1pm and could have spent longer if I wanted to but I also wanted to have a bit of time in the Theme Park to enjoy a couple of rides aswell.

I did go on the ‘Master Blaster’ waterslide a few times and I must admit it was so much fun and amazing as well with how the waterslide is, although one time we did see someone get stuck and fall off so we had to wait until they got “rescued”.

The outdoor part of the waterpark didn’t open until just after 11am, but I did end up going outside twice making use of the slides outside and it was also perfect weather aswell.

Now of course, if you wanted to you could spend all day at the waterpark (depending on Alton Towers using timed sessions of course) and they do advise to pre-book. When I was there it did get alot busier after 12pm so, 10am did seem like a good time to go in and make use of the Master Blaster before the queues got too busy for it.

There is also a place to get a drink and food within the waterpark aswell, making it ideal for a day out.
