Many people may have forgotten that Project Horizon was due to bring a new indoor ride to Alton Towers, near World of David Williams / Alton Dungeons.

Sadly, back in April, Merlin & Alton Towers announced that the project was placed on-hold and will be reviewed in 2025 and they have now been focusing work on Project Ocean instead.

Hopefully, the project will still go ahead and we will hear more about it next year, but time will tell.

We really do hope that it won’t be one of the planned rides that they abandon, as it will bring much needed improvements to the the park!
