Thorpe Park has now received permission from Runnymede Council for the removal of Slammer.
In reference to the above Order, Runnymede Borough Council have considered the above proposal and determined that PRIOR APPROVAL IS NOT REQUIRED. You are now free to continue with the above proposal in accordance with the relevant legislation, including any relevant conditions.
Work has been scheduled to take place in January/February to have this done prior to their 2025 season, although at this time they do not have any plans for its replacement.
