Thorpe Park has today announced that Hyperia will be closed now until at least the 8th June sadly.

Hopefully this will give time to fully resolve what ever the issue with Hyperia is and also give more time to work on the ride area aswell.

In addition to this, Thorpe Park has released the below statement:

Following Hyperia’s temporary closure, we’re receiving a high number of inquiries about its reopening. To address your questions efficiently, we’ve created a dedicated FAQ section on our website. Link below.

Our social media and customer service teams are currently prioritising assisting those with existing bookings. If your question isn’t covered in the FAQs and directly relates to your booking, please reach out to our team directly.

We understand the desire for in-depth details about the closure, however, as with any ride shutdown it is not necessary for us to go into such detail. We can confirm that Mack Rides, the ride’s manufacturer, is on-site working diligently to investigate and to get Hyperia back into operation as soon as possible.

Following an incredible opening day, we, like you are absolutely gutted that we’re unable to open Hypera at present. But we’re equally excited to re-open the ride as soon as we can. Keep an eye on our main social channels for updates from Alice soon.

Remember, our customer service team do not monitor this group.
