Not all that long ago, we were told by Bianca, that HEX will be opening for Autumn this year.
During my recent video, there wasn’t any sign from the outside of HEX that it would be opening again anytime soon, sometimes there has been work seen taking place outside which would I guess mostly be to manage/stop weeds growing on the footpath.
The last I have here rumor of is that HEX is actually still awaiting for replacement parts!
When Alton Towers are asked for an update / what’s going on with HEX they are now saying that wiit will re-open later this Autumn.
But with the end of season week’s away now, will we even see it open this year? Will there even be much point in opening it this year?
For us, we would rather Alton Towers just come out and openly say that they will no longer open it this year due to (what ever excuse they would like to us) and they will now plan to open it in 2025.
In some ways it is a shame that HEX hasn’t managed to open, as it gives a good escape and alternative from other rides on-park, although it might not be the best madhouse ride there is compared to others such as Monster House Party at Legoland or even Villa Volta at Efteling.
