Public Consultation
This project is currently under going a Public Consultation, with plan's to submit planning permission by the end of the year, due to this updates will come as & when they are available.
Project Play will focus on the redevelopment of Mexicana with a new theme and the design concept being developed towards younger guests, similar to CBeebies Land at Alton Towers, but will be a different theme, which might include
- ‘My First’ rollercoaster
- Childrens flat rides
- Themed playscape
- Meet & Greet
- Food & Retail Area
The area will include the removal of Scorpion Express and the moving of animals from the Children’s Zoo.

Public Consultation Launched
Chessington has launched a public consultation on the plans, the aim is to submit planning permission later this year.
