Air opened at Alton Towers in 2002, after being delayed from it’s original secheduled opening of 1998 as a result of the complex features of the ride.
Air was B&M’s first protoype flying roller coaster.
In 2015, Alton Towers then submited plan’s to change the ride’s theming and station and in January 2016, Alton Towers confirmed the ride would be changed to Galactica.
