As a result of new rules that are to come into force at the end of May 2023 for visitors to the EU, sadly, Eurostar have decided that they would need to suspend the direct Disneyland Paris service from the 5th June and will further revist options for 2024 some point next year.

The system will mean travellers from outside the bloc must have their fingerprints scanned and photograph taken, instead of having their passport manually stamped.

This will come as a great disappointment to many who wish to visit Disneyland Paris since the journey takes two and a half hours approx. with the direct service, however, you will need to get a less frequent connection from Paris or Lille, much like had to be done during the COVID Pandemic when the service was also paused and the service only returned at the end of March this year.

There had been talk that this was due to the changes that would need to be implemented at Marne-la-Vallee (Disneyland Paris train station).
