Runaway Mine Train

Opened in 1992 and is infact the oldest rollercoaster operating at Alton Towers. 

The ride normally gives you two circuits of the track, but on quieter days you can get much more, infact the most our team member Ross has had was 6 circuits.  The circuits are always given as a even number due to the design of the ride.

The rollercoaster only has 1 train with 12 cars with a max of 48 riders per train.

It’s always great fun for all ages even adult’s, but remember you must always let out a big Choo Choo, its just the rule of the ride!
