During my recent visit to Alton Towers for its opening week, I decided to check out their brand new attraction which replaced Duel, The Curse at Alton Manor.

Now, there has been a few issues with it opening with it becoming unavailable during the day, but when it is open and running, all I can say is WOW!

The Ride system is still the same as what was in place for Duel minus the lazer guns. But the story behind the ride is brilliant, and so much so I don’t want to give it away!

I would say its so much better and more enjoyable than Duel ever was.

The story on some ways starts as soon as you join the queue, so while you are outside take a look at the theming as you walk through!

Well done Merlin and Alton Towers, I would recommend that you also take a few trips around it to fully appreciate the new attraction.
