I recently stayed at the Splash Landings Hotel for a few nights during a visit to Alton Towers.

The room was of great size, very clean and could not fault the room at all.

You do have a fan in the room but no air-conditioning which is a shame as this would have been nice as the fan is a bit noisy to leave on at night.

I only had breakfast at the hotel as couldn’t get any reservations to have dinner due to the reduced capacity.

The breakfast was of a good enough choice so you wont go hungry.

The hotel isn’t too far of a walk from the Galactica Entrance while I was there this opened at 9am so you could get in to queue up for the rides before they opened at 10am.

I could not fault the staff at all, they were friendly and helpful as well.

Each night I was at the hotel, they also had a live singer in the evening which was also good and very enjoyable.

There was hand sanitizer throughout the hotel which was great to see as well along with people being asked to wear a facemask while walking around.

Cleaning of rooms if you are staying more than one night is only on re-request when you check-in otherwise, won’t be cleaned until you leave but I did not mind this.

Will be sure to come back to the hotel when I next visit Alton Towers.
