As a way to combat the queues for the ‘main’ attractions at Alton Towers which we seen during the 2020 season, Alton Towers have now put in place 3 additional temporary rides to help ‘ease’ the preasure on the popular rides, branding them as part of the Retro Squad!

Located within Dark Forest you will fine Roller Disco a very much fun ride where you will slide and swirl your way round and round spinning and going fast!

Over in X-Sector you will find Mixtape where you will have plenty of laughs while bouncing up and down!

Joining the Retrosquad over in Forbidden Valley you will fine Funk’n’Fly reaching retrotastic heights!

For me its a great way to give some extra ‘capacity’ into the ride line up and hopefully I will try to arrange a trip sometime soon to go and check the rides out, so watch this space!
