I recently stayed at the Alton Towers Hotel while visiting the park for 3 days, the hotel are using an optional online check-in which meant when I arrived I just used a kiosk to check-in to my room and receive my key after scanning a QR Code I received by email.

I was staying in room 131 which is near to the Spa the room had a double bed, sofa bed, and bunk bed and had plenty of space. I had no issues with the room and found it to be very clean.

The service I received from staff at the hotel was good however felt the service in the Secret Garden Restaurant where I had dinner on my first evening was slow to be served.

The hotel also had entertainment at night which included live singing, magic, and a game show for adults! Nicole (I believe her name was!) was a brilliant singer and done a great job at keeping us entertained.

The hotel is also a short walk from the theme park, where you can enter near the Rollercoaster Restaurant in the morning and you can also use the same entrance to leave the park back to the hotel and you walk through the splash landings hotel and waterpark to get to the hotel.
